Dominik Gorecki

Dominik Gorecki has over nine years of professional experience in software engineering. Dominik began their career in 2012 as an ASP.NET Applications Developer at TC Media. In 2014, they moved to CARPROOF as a Scrum Master and Full Stack Developer, where they pushed for better coding standards, code reviews, and unit tests. In 2015, they joined Diply as a Product Manager, where they enabled the development team in releasing a new architecture based on micro-services that resulted in a 40% decrease in load times, sped up the implementation cycle, and improved overall page metrics. Dominik also designed and led the implementation of a custom AB testing framework that reports on page metrics & monetization. In 2017, they became VP of Technology at Officialize. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CARPROOF and a Senior Software Architect at CTO Boost™. In 2019, they were a Senior Software Architect at Point Alliance. In 2020, they were a .Net Architect at Indigo. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Borrowell as an Engineering Manager and Team Lead.

Dominik Gorecki obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Western University between 2000 and 2006. Dominik also obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach in 2018. In 2016, they obtained a Coursera Course Certificates and in 2015, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
