Kenisha Thomas

Kenisha Thomas is a seasoned professional in the art and preservation sectors, currently serving as Assistant Registrar at Bortolami Gallery since September 2020, after completing an internship at the same institution. Prior experience includes seven years as Studio Manager at Richard Haas Inc., where key contributions involved developing archiving protocols for over 6000 artworks, facilitating significant fundraising efforts for mural restoration, and serving as an art handler and artist liaison. Kenisha's background also encompasses a role as a Trade Catalog Digitization Intern at the Association for Preservation Technology International and a HealthCorps member with the New York Children's Health Project, showcasing a diverse skill set in project coordination, outreach, and education. Kenisha holds a Bachelor's of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Cornell University.
