Gert Van Meerbeeck has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gert currently holds the position of Global Customer Director Commercial Vehicles & Off-Road at Bosal, which they started in November 2019. Prior to that, they were the Owner and Principal of Van Meerbeeck bvba starting from 2018. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at VCST, where they initially served as a Senior Sales Manager and later became the Director of Sales & Marketing. In this role, they developed and implemented sales & marketing strategies, managed a global sales team, and was responsible for day-to-day business management. Before joining VCST, Gert worked at American Specialty Cars N.A., Inc as a Product Planning Specialist and at CTS CarTopSystems N.A., Inc. in various roles including Marketing Analyst, Program & Account Analyst, and Management Trainee. Their responsibilities included market analysis, strategy development, program management, and financial control.
Gert Van Meerbeeck completed their education history with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Automotive Management from IVA Driebergen in 1997. Prior to that, they earned another BBA degree in Marketing Management from Northwood University in 1998. Additionally, Gert Van Meerbeeck pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Northwood University - DeVos Graduate School in 1999.
