Thomas Hogenmüller

Thomas Hogenmüller has extensive experience in communication architecture and automotive engineering, currently serving as the Director of Zone ECUs Communication Architecture at Bosch since May 2011. Prior roles include Senior Manager of E/E-Architecture Communication Networks and Senior Research Engineer at both Bosch and Robert Bosch, where expertise was developed in areas such as Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and future automotive architectures. Thomas holds leadership positions in IEEE standards groups, including Chair of IEEE802.3bw 100BASE-T1 and Chair of IEEE802.3 1 Twisted Pair 100 Mb/s Ethernet Study Group. Education includes a Master of Science in Communication and Media Engineering from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and a Diplomingenieur in Communication Electronics from the same institution, complemented by studies at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and Beihang University.
