Cristian Hera

Cristian Hera is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advanced systems research, specializing in road noise cancellation and hearing enhancement at Bose Corporation since May 2005. Currently serving as Manager of Advanced Systems Research, Cristian leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers across various domains including machine learning, software, hardware, and digital signal processing. Previous roles at Bose include Manager of Applied Research and Concepts Development, where Cristian established the Automotive In-Cabin Experiences group, and Engineering Leader, focusing on voice capture technologies. Cristian's career also includes significant contributions at NMS Communications, where multiple DSP algorithms were developed, and academic experience as an Assistant Professor in Digital Signal Processing. Cristian holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
