Dave van Iderstine

Dave Van Iderstine serves as a Software Architect and Technical Lead at Bose Corp. since December 2005, where leadership of a large distributed team involves developing new products and features for smart soundbar and speaker systems. Prior to this role, Dave was a Software Consultant at Embedded Solutions from January 1998 to December 2005. Dave also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Harvard Clinical Technology, leading a team in the design of drug infusion pumps, and held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Fujitsu from 1999 to 2001. Earlier in Dave's career, significant contributions were made as a Principal Software Engineer at Xerox Imaging Systems, focusing on the development of reading machines for the blind. Educationally, Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, obtained in May 1980.
