Michael P. Williams

Michael P. Williams is an experienced library and information science professional with a strong background in cataloging, processing, and technical services. Currently serving as the Cataloging and Processing Manager at Boston Public Library since March 2023, Michael oversees the cataloging of a vast collection exceeding 20 million items. Prior to this role, Michael was the Head of Global Studies Technical Services at Penn Libraries, managing cataloging and acquisitions for Area Studies Collections. Additionally, Michael has been an Associate Editor at Boss Fight Books since 2014, focusing on critical books about video games. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania.
