Megan Dahlhauser

Associate Editor, PRX Quantum at American Physical Society

Megan Dahlhauser, PhD, is an accomplished physicist currently serving as Associate Editor for PRX Quantum at the American Physical Society since April 2024. Prior to this role, Megan was a Postdoctoral Associate at Sandia National Laboratories from September 2021 to March 2024 and a Graduate Research Assistant at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from August 2016 to May 2021. During the academic journey, Megan completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Energy Science and Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with multiple minors at Virginia Tech. Early career experiences include serving as a Lab Assistant and Grading Assistant at Virginia Tech, as well as a Summer Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where simulations for error-correcting circuits were designed under the guidance of notable scientists. Additionally, Megan has a background in dance education, having taught various classes for young children at the Wilson School of Dance.
