Nauman Akhtar - Web and Graphic Designer

Nauman Akhtar is a Web and Graphic Designer with over 10 years of experience. In 2018, they served as a Social Media Activist. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Boster Biological Technology as an Executive Marketing Assistant, where they collaborated and coordinated with other discipline team leads to service their needs, champion the needs of the design team, and maintain a strong flow of cross-disciplinary information. Nauman Akhtar also developed and formatted all Marketing Materials based on Brand Guidelines, and produced brochures, large-format print collateral, and invitations. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Freelance UI/UX Designer at Upwork, where they specialized in Open Source Web development, Websites Maintenance, Ecommerce Website design and development, Websites development using Twitter Bootstrap Framework, Creative and Responsive Email Newsletter designing and development, Brand & Identity Design, and W3C Validation and Quality Assurance before update submission. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at GKhair as Office Manager and Design Lead, where they maintained office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. Nauman Akhtar also kept management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, identifying trends and summarizing information, and maintained office staff by interviewing and training employees. In addition, they served as Web & Graphics Lead, where they worked with various departments to determine promotional and graphic needs; determined timeline, layout and best venue for printing; produced sample layout; edited and modified based on feedback; and oversaw production from initial concept to final print. Nauman Akhtar also designed and created graphic interpretation of concepts by transforming ideas into creative designs for brochures, displays, exhibits, signs, emails, websites, presentations and other visual communications. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, they worked at Avant Garde Pvt. Ltd. as a Sr. UI/UX Designer.

Nauman Akhtar completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from COMSATS wah Cantt. between 2002 and 2006. Nauman Akhtar also attended Bahria College in Karachi from 1994 to 1999.
