Jennifer Durant

Jennifer Durant, PhD, is an accomplished Senior Scientist at Boston Analytical since November 2017, with a consulting role at Durant Consulting since 2013. Expertise includes protein interactions, fermentation technology, analytical biophysical data interpretation, and strategic technology integration. Notable past positions include Research Scientist at Itaconix Corporation (2009-2012), where Jennifer authored multiple successful grant proposals and managed multi-PI grants. As a Research Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire (2004-2012), Jennifer led research on fermentation of organic acids and directed R&D for patented downstream processing methods. Jennifer also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of New Hampshire, contributing to the development of commercially available measurement instrumentation for protein charge analysis. Jennifer holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and studied at Heidelberg University (1996-1997).
