Barbra Batshalom

Barbra BatShalom is a prominent figure in the building industry, serving as the Founder and CEO of BuildingEase since January 2019, where a global trade exchange ecommerce site for B2B green construction products was established. As the Founder and CEO of the Sustainable Performance Institute since March 2012, Barbra has focused on enhancing professional practices and evaluating the sustainability capabilities of industry companies. In addition, Barbra is a Teaching Faculty member at Boston Architectural College, instructing graduate students in sustainability leadership, and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Brandeis University. Barbra has held significant CEO roles at The Green Roundtable and NEXUS Green Resource Center, promoting green building through education and community resources. With a background in architectural design and strategic consulting, Barbra holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Boston Architectural College and has contributed to numerous initiatives in sustainable practices since entering the field.
