Jack Armitage

Jack Armitage has extensive experience in academia and information technology, particularly in computer science and cyber security. Since January 2015, Jack has been a Teaching Faculty member and Visiting Professor at Siena College, specializing in these fields. Prior to this role, Jack was an Adjunct Faculty member at Hudson Valley Community College from September 1999 to September 2021. Jack's professional background includes significant positions in various New York State agencies, such as Deputy Director of the Enterprise Information Security Office and Deputy Director of Customer Service at the NYS Office of Information Technology Services and NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, respectively. Additional roles include IT Director/Acting CIO at the NYS Division of Parole and Chief of DP Services at the NYS Office for Technology. Jack's education includes a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University and a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany.
