Michael Born

Michael Born is the President of Born Illustration, Inc. since January 2007, specializing in renderings and animations for various sectors including architecture and filmmaking. In addition, Michael serves as a SketchUp Instructor at American Graphics Institute, teaching a wide range of students from beginner to advanced levels, and holds the position of Instructor and Committee Chair at BSA SketchUp Bootcamp, offering free monthly classes at the Boston Society of Architects. As an Adjunct Professor at Boston Architectural College, Michael designed and teaches a course on Digital Artistic Illustration, focusing on rendering techniques. Additionally, Michael has a background in music, performing as a guitarist in various bands since 1990, and has previous experience as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer at Baker Design Group, Inc. and as an Illustrator and Intern Architect at Beacon Architectural Associates. Michael's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy.
