Jennifer M. Rodts

Jennifer M. Rodts is the current Director of Human Resources at Boston Ballet. Jennifer has over twenty years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Talent Management, Budget Administration, and Vendor Management. Prior to their current position, Jennifer was a HR Consultant at Eaton Vance from August 2008 to April 2009. From January 1995 to August 2007, they were VP, Human Resources Manager at Putnam Investments, where they centralized the severance administration with the induction of a new severance policy, participated in the year-end compensation review process for investment staff, served as HR Generalist to Equity Trading and portfolio teams, and collaborated as a member of a taskforce to redesign and implement a quarterly orientation program. In addition, Jennifer managed the HR budget of +$1m, solicited and consolidated annual budget requests from all HR Directors, monitored monthly spending, and built and managed an annual legal budget for immigration expenses. Jennifer also managed the relocation program and vendor relationships. Lastly, Jennifer oversaw the immigration program for all foreign nationals and expats (up to 75 annually), coordinated the sponsorship process for work visas and green cards, developed policies regarding sponsorship, and educated HR colleagues on policies and proper certification of I-9 forms.
