Michael Tai, PhD, is a seasoned leader in the biotechnology sector with extensive experience in bioprocess development and team management. Currently serving as Cofounder and CEO of Boston BioProcess since September 2022, Michael Tai specializes in providing exceptional bioprocess support for fermentation product companies. Prior to this role, as Head of Bioprocess at Motif FoodWorks, Inc., from July 2020 to August 2022, Michael Tai successfully built and led a comprehensive bioprocess team, driving initiatives from proof of concept to commercial launch. Michael Tai's career also includes a significant tenure at Archer Daniels Midland Company, where various roles, including Project Leader and Senior Scientist, involved advancing fermentation processes, project management, and regulatory affairs. Michael Tai holds a PhD in Biological Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with advanced degrees in Microbiology and Pharmaceutical Engineering.
