Buddy Scott is currently the Basketball Strategy Analyst for the Boston Celtics. Buddy has previous experience working as an NBA Capologist, where they managed salary cap sheets for all 30 teams in real time, and assisted with the Sports Business Classroom's "GM Academy" in December 2021. Buddy also interned with Harvard Athletics in gameday ticketing operations for Harvard Football and Basketball, and won the "Rookie of the Year" award at the NBA Summer League in August 2021. In addition to their work in basketball, Buddy also hosts a basketball podcast called Buddy Ball, and is a salary cap consultant for The Players Fund.
Buddy Scott's educational career includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University, a "Learn Basketball Xs and Os from the Ground Up" Course with Ben Falk and Gibson Pyper from Learn Basketball, a 4.28 GPA in the CBA Mastery Course with Larry Coon from the Sports Business Classroom, and a 4.24 GPA in the Business of Basketball Experience at the 2019 NBA Summer League from the Sports Business Classroom. Buddy also has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Saint Francis High School and took a "Learn Basketball Xs and Os from the Ground Up" Course with Ben Falk and Gibson Pyper at Punahou School.
