Elektra T. Newman

Elektra T. Newman is an accomplished theatre professional with extensive experience in various roles within the performing arts. Currently serving as a Props Artisan at American Repertory Theater since November 2023, Elektra has also held positions as Assistant Theatre Operations Coordinator and Technical Assistant at Suffolk University since October 2019. As the Producing Artistic Director for Jumble Jumble Theatre Co. & Mass. Movie Mob, Elektra focuses on community-driven theatrical projects. Additional roles include Freelance Scenic Artist, Carpenter, and Lighting Technician with Huntington Theatre Company; Freelance Videographer and Lighting Technician at Ball Square Films; and several positions at Boston Center for the Arts, The Gold Dust Orphans, and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Elektra holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre & Arts Administration from Suffolk University and a Certificate in Art School Preparation from Rhode Island School of Design.
