Ariel Kupfer Berman is a Board Member at MASOC and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston Child Study Center. They are also a Visiting Scholar at Brandeis University, where they explore relational trauma as a risk factor in male youth sexual offending and recidivism into adulthood. Ariel has a background in clinical psychology, with a PhD from Western Michigan University and a Master's degree in Psychology from Brandeis University. They have also conducted research on topics such as anxiety-like behaviors in rodents and sexual offenders. In addition, Ariel has experience as a Graduate Teaching Fellow, a Clinic Associate, a Co-Founder & Manager of First Root Farm, and a Community Programs Coordinator at The Network/La Red.
