Vaughan Bradley-Willemann has a diverse work experience in the arts and education fields. Vaughan'smost recent position was as a Senior Director of Arts and Culture at the Boston Children's Museum, starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked for two years as a Manager of Community Engagement at the National Symphony Orchestra at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Manager of Community Programs and Partnerships at Project Create, and before that, they worked as a Music Curriculum Specialist at The MusicianShip in 2017. In 2016, they were a Violin Instructor at the DC Youth Orchestra Program. Vaughan also gained experience at Carnegie Hall as an Associate in Social Impact Programs from 2013 to 2015. Vaughan worked as a Middle School Music Teacher at Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy in 2012 and as a K-4 Music Teacher at Maret School in the same year. Prior to that, they served as a Program Assistant at the Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School in 2011. Vaughan also held a position as the Head Volleyball Coach for the Junior Varsity team at Maret School in 2011.
Vaughan Bradley-Willemann holds a Master's Degree in Education from Harvard University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Violin Performance from Mills College. In addition, they obtained a certification in Advancing Youth Development from the DC Alliance of Youth Advocates in October 2017.
