Colin Shaffer

Colin Shaffer is the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Boston College, where responsibilities include overseeing and evaluating athletics compliance efforts. Prior to this role, Colin held various positions in compliance at the University of Miami, including Director of Compliance and NIL. Colin's professional experience also includes a legal internship with the Minnesota Vikings, where contract agreements were completed, and a summer law clerk position involving extensive legal research and document drafting. Colin has a strong foundation in athletics and compliance, with prior experience as a supervisor in intramural sports at Carnegie Mellon University and internships in sports marketing and law. Colin holds a J.D./L.L.M in Sports Law from the University of Miami School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Ethics, History, and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
