Elizabeth Shlala

Elizabeth Shlala currently serves as the Associate Dean for the Core Curriculum and Professor of the Practice at Boston College since September 2018. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held various positions at Harvard University, including faculty at the Harvard Extension School and a visiting scholar at the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights. Elizabeth's academic career also includes significant research and teaching roles at institutions such as the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, and Georgetown University, focusing on areas related to migration, gender, and education. With a PhD in History from Georgetown University and additional qualifications in Migration Studies, Elizabeth has contributed extensively to research and education in her fields of expertise.
