Tristan Johnson

Tristan Johnson currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs at Boston College, a position held since January 2020. With a strong background in educational technology and curriculum development, Tristan has also held key roles such as Editor in Chief of the Educational Technology Research and Development Journal since 2014 and Assistant Dean of Multidisciplinary Graduate Education and Digital Learning at Northeastern University from 2012 to 2019. Throughout a distinguished academic career, Tristan has contributed significantly to graduate education through leadership positions at various institutions, including Florida State University and Purdue University, focusing on online learning initiatives and multidisciplinary program development. Tristan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Technology from Purdue University, a Master of Arts from UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Utah.
