William Hickman

William Hickman is an Economics Ph.D. Candidate at Boston College, focusing on the impact of tort reform on medical malpractice disputes through a game-theoretic model. Hickman's work includes developing MATLAB code for simulations and enhancing computational performance on high-performance clusters. As a Teaching Fellow, Hickman designed curricula for undergraduate courses in Microeconomic Theory and Statistics, emphasizing interactive learning and real-world applications. Additionally, Hickman has experience as a Graduate Assistant, applying econometric methods to analyze time-series data and supporting student learning in various economics courses. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and MA in Economics from Boston College, as well as a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Brigham Young University.
