Adam Wright has extensive work experience in the energy trading and marketing industry. Adam started their career in 2001 as an RT trader at International Power and later joined NRG Energy in the same role. In 2008, they joined Edison Mission Marketing & Trading as a member of the Realtime desk and worked there until 2014. During this time, they also worked at Wright Properties as the owner. In 2014, they joined BETM (Boston Energy Trading and Marketing) as a member of the Realtime Desk, and in 2022, they transitioned into the role of Program Manager, Dispatch Operations at the same company.

Adam Wright attended Keene High School from 1991 to 1995, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. After high school, they enrolled at Crowder College from 1995 to 1997, earning an associate's degree in general studies. Following this, they attended Northeastern State University from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a bachelor's degree in finance. Additionally, Adam holds a certification as a PJM Certified from the PJM Interconnection, however, the specific details regarding when they obtained this certification are not provided.
