Brian Croteau has a diverse work experience in the energy trading and marketing industry. Brian began their career at Vitol Gas & Electric / Avista Energy in 1997 as a Risk Analyst, a role they held until January 2000. From 2000 to 2014, they worked at Edison Mission Marketing & Trading, where they held various roles including Risk Analyst, Energy Scheduler, Generation Dispatcher, Senior Generation Dispatcher, and finally Energy Dispatcher / Scheduler, Specialist. Since 2014, Brian has been with Boston Energy Trading and Marketing, starting as an Energy Dispatcher / Scheduler and progressing to Manager, Real Time Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Real Time Operations in the company.
Brian Croteau obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certification as a PJM Generation Operator from the PJM Interconnection in January 2005.
