Guang Li has a strong background in energy trading and analysis. Guang began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2003 and worked there until 2006. Guang then joined ERCOT as a Senior Market Support Analyst from 2006 to 2012. Following that, Guang worked at EDF Trading, where they held roles as a Transmission Analyst, FTR Trader, and Transmission Analyst at ERCOT Desk from 2012 to 2015. Guang achieved significant success in P&L accomplishments during this time. Guang furthered their career at Mercuria Energy Group as a Transmission Analyst in 2015 and then joined Saracen Energy Group as a Transmission Analyst and FTR Trader from 2016 to 2018. Afterward, they worked at Foresta Power as an FTR Trader from 2018 to 2019. Guang'smost recent position was at Solea Energy as an FTR Trader from 2019 to 2020. Guang is currently employed as a Senior Trading Analyst at Boston Energy Trading and Marketing, starting in August 2020.
Guang Li earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, completing the program from 2003 to 2007.
