Louis Martinsen

Louis Martinsen has a strong work history in the energy trading and marketing industry. Louis currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Origination at Boston Energy Trading and Marketing LLC, which they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Origination from February 2022 to April 2023 and as Senior Managing Director, Origination from February 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Boston Energy Trading and Marketing LLC, Martinsen worked at Talen Energy as a Commercial Specialist from June 2015 to January 2017, and from October 2014 to May 2015. Prior to that, they were an Originator at PPL EnergyPlus from May 2011 to October 2014, and a Portfolio Manager at NextEra Energy Resources from June 2007 to May 2011. Louis Martinsen completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a specialization in Marketing at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, from 2002 to 2004. Louis further pursued their education at the same institution and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from 2006 to 2007.
