Pengxiang Ren

Pengxiang Ren began their work experience in 2019 as an Intern at PJM Interconnection, where they were responsible for designing and implementing a power system state estimator. They also gained practical understanding of real-time and day-ahead energy markets. In 2020, they joined Boston Energy Trading and Marketing as a Power Analyst, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Trading Analyst in January 2022. Prior to this, Pengxiang worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University from 2015 to 2019.

Pengxiang Ren holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, which they earned from Northeastern University between 2015 and 2019. Prior to this, they completed their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution from 2012 to 2015. Pengxiang Ren's academic journey began at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electric Power Engineering and Automation from 2008 to 2012.
