Julia Mertens

Julia Mertens is a Senior Scientist at Boston Fusion since June 2022, with previous experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Tufts University from September 2017 to June 2022, focusing on various research projects in psychology and cognitive science. Julia also served as a Graduate Student Academic Mentor and Teaching Assistant, providing support in academic skills and grading for courses in statistics and psychology. Prior internships include a Data Science Intern position at LivePerson, where Python was utilized to enhance the quality of human annotations, and research roles at the FACE Laboratory and the Child Language Laboratory, studying social communication in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Julia holds a PhD in Psychology and Cognitive Science from Tufts University and a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
