Scott McCalmont

Scott McCalmont is a seasoned technology manager and solar energy business professional, currently serving as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy and Boston Government Services, LLC since April 2023. McCalmont has extensive experience in the solar industry, having held key positions such as Principal Engineer at Paired Power, Vice President of Professional Services at Tigo Energy, and Founder & Chief Technology Officer at McCalmont Engineering. With a solid engineering background, McCalmont's experience includes directing engineering efforts at Regrid Power and designing analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits at Micrel. Scott McCalmont holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
