James Myers

James Myers is a highly experienced operatic coach and pianist, currently serving at Boston Lyric Opera since July 2012, where responsibilities include coaching professional soloists and providing keyboard support during rehearsals. Previous experience includes roles as Staff Pianist at The Boston Conservatory and contributions to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, performing under esteemed conductors. James has also coached opera and musical theater at the University of Northern Colorado and served as Musical Director at Metropolitan State College of Denver, focusing on undergraduate productions. Education includes a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA ABD) from Eastman School of Music and advanced degrees in Piano Performance and Literature from University of Colorado Boulder and other prestigious institutions.
