Jason Cohen is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Boston MedFlight and an Intensivist at Brigham and Women's Hospital. With an extensive background in emergency medicine, Jason has held the position of Emergency Physician in the US Army since 1999 and has worked as a Critical Care Physician and Emergency Medicine Physician at Albany Medical Center from 2010 to 2016, where Jason also served as the Research Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Earlier in their career, Jason completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center from 2003 to 2006. Jason earned a Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of New England and also studied at Cornell University.

Boston MedFlight (BMF) is a CAMTS accredited Critical Care Transport service. Boston MedFlight commits to excellence in critical care transport by providing the highest quality regional critical care transport system. For more than 35 years, Boston MedFlight has played an integral role as part of the Massachusetts EMS system and the community hospitals of New England. Boston MedFight transports emergent patients regardless of their ability to pay. We receive no state or federal funding and as a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization we must rely on third party reimbursement, support from our consortium hospitals, and our fundraising efforts to cover the substantial costs associated with delivering our services. Our consortium hospitals include: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Children's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital,Tufts Medical Center and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
