Fabio Petrocca

Fabio Petrocca is an accomplished physician-scientist with extensive experience in hematology and oncology, currently serving as an attending physician at Boston Medical Center and an assistant professor at Boston University School of Medicine. Petrocca excels as the founding director of the Cell Therapy Program and the medical director of cancer and hematology clinical trials. Additional roles include angel investor at Launchpad Venture Group and independent consultant in cell therapy, collaborating with companies such as Bristol Myers Squibb and Tessera Therapeutics. Previous experience includes senior medical director at bluebird bio, where Petrocca was integral in the early clinical development of CAR T cell therapies for multiple myeloma. Academic contributions include establishing a translational oncology research program and mentoring students while holding various positions at Harvard Medical School and other institutions.
