Kiana Mahdaviani

Kiana Mahdaviani serves as the Associate Director of the Translational Research Program in Hematology/Oncology at Boston Medical Center since August 2022, after previously holding the role of Senior Program Manager in the same department. With extensive experience in research and development, Kiana held positions as a Senior Scientist at Flagship Venturelabs-Vl39 Inc., where leadership in the development of a novel therapy was demonstrated, and as a Scientific Consultant at Flagship Ventures. Kiana's academic contributions include lecturing on muscle metabolism and related health topics and publishing research on mitochondrial function and energy metabolism during a postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Medical Center. A PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism from Boston University underpins Kiana's background, which also includes early career experience as a Clinical Dietitian at Alzahra University Hospital.
