Brett Carbonneau

Brett Carbonneau has a diverse work experience that began in 2009 as an Associate at Carbonneau's Shoe Repair. In 2014, they began working at Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a WPI Chemistry Stockroom employee, where they assisted students and faculty with acquiring lab equipment and chemicals, acted as a receptionist, and helped with laboratory preparation and safety. In 2016, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Primetals Technologies, where they supported the Non-Ferrous Metal Rolling Mill department to complete a redesign project of an Intelligent Pinch Roll assembly using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and created and revised other detail and assembly models and drawings. In 2017, they were an Intern - Solid Oxide Fuel Cells at Saint-Gobain, where they developed and manufactured ceramic Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and performed detailed ceramic processes. Brett is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Boston Metal.

Brett Carbonneau obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2014 and 2018. In 2017, they obtained a certification in "A Hands-on Introduction to Engineering Simulations (using ANSYS)" from Cornell University. In 2016, they obtained a certification in "Certified SolidWorks Associate" from DS Solidworks Corporation.
