Dawn Kelly

Dawn Kelly has a wealth of work experience in the communications and sustainability fields. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Health Education & Promotion Coordinator at the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District. In 2004, they began working as an independent Translator & Interpreter. In 2007, they took on the role of Marketing & Development Manager at the American School of Belo Horizonte. From 2009-2010, they worked as a Sustainability Consultant & Translator for various clients. From 2010-2011, they worked as a Sustainability Consultant for Bucyrus International. From 2011-2021, they worked as a Communications Specialist and Communications Consultant for CBMM, where they led global digital marketing activities, oversaw corporate and brand websites, and contributed to and edited GRI-based sustainability reports. In 2021, they began working as the Director of Communications for Boston Metal.

Dawn Kelly began their educational career in 1986 when they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Trinity University. Dawn then went on to earn a Master in Public Health from UT Health San Antonio in 1992 and 1994. In 2005 and 2006, they completed a Specialization in Environmental Impacts from the Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri. Additionally, they obtained a GRI Report Certification from the Global Reporting Initiative.
