Eric Trulson

Eric Trulson has over 8 years of work experience in mechanical engineering and design. Eric began their career in 2013 at Wet Dog Glass as a Mechanical Engineer and Fabricator. In 2015, they moved to Orbit Research as a Mechanical Engineer and CNC Machinist. In 2018, they joined Formlabs as a Mechanical Engineer and SLS Build Team Lead, where they were responsible for taking the printer from a mature prototype to a finished and shipping product. In 2020, they worked at SAAM, Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they were tasked with taking the product from rough design to having the first six functional prototypes built and tested in four months. In 2021, they joined Markforged as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Most recently, they started their own consulting business, Trulson Design, in 2016, where they provide mechanical engineering, design, and prototyping services. Eric is currently a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Cell Engineering at Boston Metal.

Eric Trulson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 2010 and 2013.
