Shannon McGurk, CPA

Shannon McGurk, CPA, has extensive experience in the accounting field. Shannon began their career as an Intern at AspenCross Financial Group in 2013, where they updated client records, researched potential clients, and digitized confidential client file records. In 2015, they were promoted to Sales Assistant at AspenCross Financial Group, where they contributed to systems improvement by designing and implementing a new business processing checklist, reviewed and submitted new business applications, and created a tracking system to monitor outgoing applications. In 2016, they began working at RSM US LLP as an Audit Intern. Shannon was subsequently promoted to Assurance Associate, Senior Assurance Associate, and Supervisor, Audit/Assurance. Most recently, they have been working as an Accounting Manager at Boston Metal since 2022.

Shannon McGurk, CPA obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Accounting from James Madison University in 2017, following their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from JMU College of Business in 2016.
