Ming Shan

Ming Shan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies in the pharmaceutical and research fields. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. After that, they worked as a Postdoc Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in 2011 and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University in St. Louis from 2012 to 2014. Ming then joined Merck as a Senior Scientist from 2014 to 2017. They further advanced their career as an Associate Director at TESARO, Inc. from 2017 to 2019, followed by the position of Director at GSK from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Ming holds the role of Senior Director at Boston Pharmaceuticals starting from 2022.

Ming Shan has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biotechnology from Peking University. Ming also holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from Baylor College of Medicine. Additionally, Ming Shan has acquired a certificate in Principles and Practice of Clinical Research from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
