Roy Wada

Roy Wada currently serves as the Director of Informatics at the Boston Public Health Commission, overseeing informatics and analytics teams in the production of reports, apps, and dashboards. Wada also holds a position as a Lecturer in Analytics at Northeastern University, where analytics and informatics courses are developed and taught. Previous roles include Director of Research and Analysis for the Human Rights Commission in the City of Boston, Senior Health Data Scientist at the Boston Public Health Commission, Senior Researcher in Public Health at the University of Illinois Chicago, Assistant Researcher at UCLA, and a Ruth L. Kirschstein-NRSA Fellow at the RAND Corporation. Roy Wada earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University - Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
