Sophia Neirman, MPPA, has extensive experience in public policy and community support, currently serving as the Policy and Planning Manager at the Boston Public Health Commission since January 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing trauma-informed and harm reduction policies in the largest men's and women's shelter in Boston. Previous roles include Case Investigator at Partners In Health, supervising contact tracers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau, collecting demographic data. Additional experience encompasses research on public health topics at Tapestry, evaluation work at The Capacity Group, and various community support roles, including guiding at-risk youth and providing case management for families. Neirman holds a Master's of Public Policy and Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology from Mount Holyoke College.
