Angela Veizaga

Director, Strategic Partnerships at Boston Public Library

Angela Veizaga is the Director of Strategic Partnerships. She is the liaison between the library, its affiliates, organizations throughout the City of Boston, and city agencies.

Angela started her 9-year library career in the Boston Public Library at the East Boston and Mattapan branches as the Teen Librarian at both locations. She then transitioned to System-wide Youth Programs Librarian, where she oversaw and curated system-wide youth programs for all 27 branches. Before her current position, Angela was the Assistant Manager of Youth Services and, alongside the Manager of Youth Services, oversaw services for all youth and major youth programming initiatives throughout the system.

Angela holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from Simmons University and a B.A. in English/Art History from George Washington University.
