Jessica Elias

Jessica Elias is an experienced library and community learning professional, currently serving as the Manager of Community Learning at the Boston Public Library since May 2014. In this role, Jessica oversees initiatives that provide essential services in areas such as ESL, digital literacy, media literacy, and workforce development. Previous positions include Community Learning Supervisor at the same institution, and roles at Cengage Learning as an Intellectual Property Analyst and Photo Research Coordinator at Jones and Bartlett Learning. Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Library Science/Archives Management from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography & Design from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Additionally, Jessica volunteers at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum, supporting wildlife care efforts.
