Karl Underwood

Karl Underwood has extensive experience in manufacturing and supply chain management, currently serving as the Manager for Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Boston Scientific since August 2019. Prior to this role, Karl was the Manager of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at BTG, which was subsequently acquired by Boston Scientific, from October 2016 to August 2019. Karl's responsibilities also included managing the Customer Service team and Supply Chain for TheraSphere, a liver cancer treatment utilizing radioactive Yttrium-90. Additional experience includes serving as a Technical Authority at BTG, and holding various leadership roles at Abbott from 2007 to 2015, as well as positions at i-STAT Canada Limited from 1990 to 2007. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a specialization in Chemistry from Concordia University.
