Sam Thomas is a highly knowledgeable toxicologist currently employed at Boston Scientific since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sam served as a Research and Development Chemist at Labcorp Drug Development from July 2021 to January 2023. Academic experience includes a postdoctoral research position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Pedersen Laboratory, focusing on detection and remediation of chronic wasting disease prions from September 2014 to July 2021, as well as a PhD in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology from the same institution, with dissertation work centered on environmental exposures and inflammation in prostatic diseases. Sam also holds a Bachelor of Science in Water Resources and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, obtained in 2014.
