John Tracey

John Tracey is an experienced sound engineer currently employed at the Boston Symphony Orchestra since April 2005, where responsibilities include roles such as System Technician, FOH Engineer, Monitor Engineer, and Wireless Technician. In addition to this position, John has been working as a freelance sound engineer and production manager since February 2001 for various production companies and arts organizations. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Concert Manager at North Shore Music Theatre from March 2004 to December 2008, managing logistics and technical aspects of concerts, and working as an Audio/Lighting Technician at avfx Inc. from February 2000 to March 2002. John holds a degree from Salem State University, completed between 1996 and 1999.
