Nick Squire

Nick Squire is an experienced recording engineer and producer based in Boston, currently serving as a recording engineer for the Boston Symphony Orchestra since February 2015. Prior to this role, Nick operated as a freelance recording engineer and producer from September 2006 to February 2015. Additionally, Nick served as an instructor for graduate and undergraduate sound recording classes at McGill University from April 2007 to May 2011 and worked as a research assistant, capturing and analyzing acoustics of notable venues in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Earlier experience includes working as an audio engineer/technician for KPTM / KXVO, mixing audio for live and pre-taped television broadcasts. Nick holds a Master of Music in Sound Recording from McGill University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance and Music Technology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
