Hannah Hawks-Mayer

Hannah Hawks-Mayer is a Doctoral Student at Boston University School of Medicine, beginning in September 2024. Prior to this role, Hannah served as a Research Associate III at Cajal Neuroscience from September 2021 to April 2024, and held Research Associate positions at Universal Cells and Boston Children's Hospital from September 2020 to April 2024 and July 2017 to September 2020, respectively. During the time at Boston Children's Hospital, Hannah worked under Dr. Jonathan Lipton in the neurobiology department. Hannah's earlier research experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Researcher at Virginia Tech and Research Assistant positions at Tufts University, collaborating with various faculty members. Hannah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Tech in 2017.
