Elise Morgan

Dean, College of Engineering at Boston University

Elise Morgan serves as the Dean ad interim and holds the position of Maysarah K. Sukkar Professor of Engineering Design and Innovation, as well as being a Professor and Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development at Boston University, where Elise has been employed since September 2003. Currently, Elise Morgan is also the Director of the Center for Multiscale & Translational Mechanobiology at Boston University, starting in January 2020. In addition, since August 2022, Elise Morgan has been an ELATES Fellow in a prestigious leadership development program at Drexel University, selected from 31 senior faculty leaders across 25 institutions. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2002 to 2003. Elise Morgan earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2002 and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1996.
