Jason Campbell-Foster

Interim Associate Provost & Dean of Students at Boston University

Jason Campbell-Foster is the Interim Associate Provost & Dean of Students at Boston University. Prior to their current position, Jason served as the Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Northeastern University from July 2005 to September 2019, where they were responsible for oversight of the Department of Residential Life, the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution, and the Center for Student Involvement. Jason also served as Hall Director at Canisius College from August 2003 to June 2005, overseeing the community operations for both apartment and traditional-style residences. Jason has dedicated their career to student affairs and is committed to providing students with the best possible college experience.

Jason Campbell-Foster received their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Northeastern University in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration. Prior to that, they received their Master of Science (M.S.) from Canisius College in College Student Personnel Administration and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from State University of New York at Fredonia in English. Jason is also certified as a Massachusetts Notary Public from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

They are on a team with Judith Sandonato - Chief of Staff to the Provost, Stan Sclaroff - Interim Dean of Arts & Sciences, and Gloria Waters - Vice President & Associate Provost for Research. Jason Campbell-Foster reports to Robert A. Brown, President.
